The CDM Consultancy services offered by Marpal briefly comprises of assisting Clients, Principal Designers, Principal Contractors and Contractors with complying with their statutory duties. This includes preparing Pre-Construction Information Packs, developing CDM Risk Registers, Cleaning Maintenance and Access Strategies, Plant Replacement Strategies, Construction Phase Plans, Health & Safety Files, Building Manuals, undertaking Site Safety Inspections etc.

Marpal also operate a Health & Safety Competent Person Scheme designed to assist small to medium sized business in complying with their health and safety obligations by providing health and safety assistance and advice.

CDM/Health & Safety Consultant’s Role

Marpal’s CDM Consultancy Department is growing and we are now looking to recruit a suitable Health & Safety/CDM Consultant to join our team to assist the CDM Department with the delivery of CDM Consultancy Services on construction projects across the UK, as well as providing health and safety support to members of Marpal’s Competent Person Scheme.

The ideal candidate should have a Construction or Health and Safety related degree (although not essential) and be from a construction health and safety background, either as a CDM Consultant or Health and Safety Advisor/Manager. The successful candidate will be based at our Derby office.

The ideal candidate should have: i) an understanding of the CDM Regulations ii) experience within the Construction Industry iii) the ability to communicate to various people of differing statures iv) be computer literate v) an excellent grasp of spoken and written English.
